a pink nursery and a timeless name. NEWBORN

Friday, February 25th, 2011

The past two months have brought lots of adorable newborns my way and I couldn’t have been more happy about it. Newborns are so much fun and I love that my clients hire me knowing that I shoot them in a less posed, more “photojournalistic/as is” way. This little lady was my first newborn girl session in a while and she was SO cute, along with her gorgeous nursery. Thank you Mom and Dad for having me and letting me photography sweet little Jane such a timeless name).

I love a nursery with books :D

life.

As some of you may know my Grandmother has been sick and I have been flying back and forth from Florida to take care of her. The first time I came down, I brought Samme since I would be alone in the house while my Grandma was still in the hospital. Sometimes it is the big things in life that make you really appreciate the little things. Big things like your Grandma getting sick and your best friend dropping everything to fly to Florida to be with you. To sit in a hospital waiting room and do laundry with you. It takes big things like that to make you appreciate the little moments.

I am back in Florida now after flying home to photograph my Aunt and Uncle’s vow renewal ceremony and a few sessions. Samme and I took these photos on the beach. They make me laugh and remember how important it is to take just a few moments to appreciate the little moments amongst all the BIG moments.

kirsten + carlos ENGAGED!

Wednesday, February 23rd, 2011

Kirsten and Carlos are a so sweet together, and their engagement stories is one of the best I have heard. Carlos plays football for Robert Morris and proposed to Kirsten on the field during their championship game. So sweet! It was only fitting that we returned to the RMU football field for their engagement session.  xo
