Sunday was my birthday. I started feeling old (I know, don’t judge me). Somewhere between the moment I decided it would be a good idea to kill myself at the gym and blowing out my birthday candles, I reflected on my last year. I grew my business, I met some amazing clients, I had a few adventures, I got engaged, and I got a little bit closer to figuring out who I am. So thank you to my family, closest friends, and wonderful clients for helping me achieve everything I wanted to. Here is to another year of growth and discovery :D

And a few iPhone shots…

gina + dom. ENGAGED

It was love at first sight. At least for me. When I opened Gina’s inquiry back in August and saw that she would be getting married at the Mattress Factory (one of my favorite Pittsburgh wedding venues), I knew she was going to be awesome. When I met with she and Dom, they proved it. They drove from Washington, DC for their engagement photos over the weekend. When Gina got out of the car she had a birthday cupcake waiting for me.  Does it get any better than that? Anyone who knows me knows I kind of LOVE cupcakes, so Gina you get a BIG gold star! :D :D

I am SO excited for their September wedding. It is going to be amazing.

This one is Jim’s…

city full of inspiration.

If you know me, you know I love New York City. I love the nitty-grittyness of it. I love the hustle of its people. I love that it is filled with people from all different walks of life. Mostly I love how every time I go, it inspires me. It wakes me up even when I have barely slept.  Around every corner is art, on the walls and on the people.

This past weekend I got a text from Jess…”want to go to nyc?”.  So I said “WHEN? Tonight”.  She said sure, I asked Samme, we booked the megabus and a hotel in Chelsea, and off we went at 11pm.  We arrived at 7am and spent the day exploring, and eating (how is it possible for so much amazing food to be packed into one city?).

Samme and I headed home at 7am on Monday. Hearts full of inspiration, bodies full of exhaustion.

A good motto for anyone.

Samme took this one of me…

Samme again. Love this.
