bestfriends + a bridge. sophie is a SENIOR

Thursday, September 9th, 2010

My favorite sessions are ones that feel like photographing friends. When we can laugh, and talk and have a good time. Last night I met Sophie at Moon Park to photograph her senior portraits, and I had a blast. Sophie wanted to include her best friend in some of her photos which is always a good time. Sophie, I hope you have an amazing senior year! Thank you for being so much fun!

and then we headed down to the Northside to take advantage of the Clemente bridge that was closed for the Pirates game!

I *think* this is my favorite :)

madison graduated!

Last night I posted a facebook status…and I think it best describes my session last night:

I have photographed Madison and her son many times, with her entire family, and because she is one of my reps. But this time was extra special, because it was just about her. She has managed to deal with more, raise a son, graduate high school, work her butt off, and she is starting college in the fall! YOU GO GIRL. Seriously though. She inspires me.

Yup, totally made her lay down in the street. We are risk takers.

SHAKERA : PITTSBURGH SENIOR PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER

Sunday, May 16th, 2010

Check out my senior portrait session with Shakera. Last week we went to the North Shore of Pittsburgh to do her senior portraits. She is graduating this year (congratulations!), and seems pretty excited about it (like most of us were/will be). I loved her style and her headbands! It was totally perfect! Thank you Shakera for exploring some new spots with me!

I think this one is my favorite…totally flower child, gorgeous.
